On hero mode, have you noticed your precursor orbs?

If you beat the whole Jak 3 game , the hero mode is only 5 precursor orbs.

Is'nt that a save?  Its like 200 precursor orbs if you don't beat the game.

Everyone keeps saying that the hero mode is much harder.  But, I don't see any differences between hero mode and the orignal mode.  Its all the same to me.
